They haven't won a game on the road yet, that saints defense is probably the worst I've seen in atleast 15 years. I knew they would have a big game today. I believe scott the gm wants to give kirk some type of extension but you have to see how they finish first. The crazy part about today was the redskins were the most basic plays and busting them for huge yardage.
I wouldn't give kirk anything but back up money but him & gruden will continue this into next year, people have been talking about extending kirk forever, they just needed a couple of games to justify it.
Cousins is a mid tier starter. Will play well and beat bad defenses but will struggle against good defenses. Could be worse- he knows when to get rid of the football at least(which RG3 couldnt do)

He knew the next two of three games would be against the Bucs and Saints. Cousins would have a chance to light it up.

You do have to pay him as a starter if he's going to start next year though. Just make it the type of deal where you get an out, like Kaep's deal. Thing is Kirk has a coach that loves him and is putting him in the best position to win. He's luckily beating up on teams with bad defenses.

Yeah most of his throws are dink & dunk, but playing a bad saints D will make you look better than you are. Kirk is not even better than jason campbell but mccloughn the the GM & of course gruden are sold on this guy long term even though he's 5-12 & hasnt won a road game or beat a compent defense this year.
