That church scene though:mjlol::dead: I would give it a 7/10 fun movie with crazy action. Pretty much a hyper-violent fusion of Matthew Vaughn's last two films Kick Ass and X-MEN: First Class. There are certain scenes that might rub people the wrong away though. The movie and trailers also did something quite clever that you won't notice it until you watch the movie, the whole time I was wondering how this scene now going to take place. The last scene:russ:.

Matthew Vaughn really should be the one directing that upcoming Deadpool movie and if Fox can make this movie R-Rated I don't see why they can't do it with that and the next Wolverine film.

Just noticed that Guy Richie and Matthew Vaughn both have throwback Spy movies coming out this year:ehh:
The deadpool director is the visual director behind scott pilgrim vs the world but this director should have been doin deadpool. :sadbron:

Like all of Vaughn's post-Stardust movies, I didn't care much for it. Like Kick-Ass it's pretty much every teenage boy's fantasy. It's a movie catering to the lowest common denominator and it sucks that a talented guy like Vaughn wastes his time on shyt like this. There's no real emotion here, only moments that should have some emotion to them but don't, the only hint that apparently it was their intention being the overly dramatic music cues.

The action scenes were pretty decent though and the cast did a good job so it's not all bad, but again, Vaughn needs to put his attention to making more interesting movies rather than ones where the princess of Sweden says she'll let the hero put it in her ass if he saves the world.

Word. It starts off as a decent action movie giving nods to spy movies and then turns into a straight up spoof in the last 30 mins.
