And even then if they all don't pan out we'll still be in the lottery anyway which will bring in more picks to also bet on. The point I'm making is that I don't think we have what it takes to bring in a major FA next year, and if we do then it wouldn't be enough to really compete with Philly or Boston IMO. Keeping Zach and holding on to cap space until the year after next for a generational FA after the team has had time to gel and grow is better IMO. Plus we can move Zach easily if we have to.

No matter what we do we won't be a bottom 5 team in the league, I don't think adding Zach makes us a fringe playoff team either, so I think we have at least one more year being in that 6-12 range in the lottery with or without Zach, and they never draft players that I want anyway.

I'd love to have a RJ Barrett, Romeo Langford or Cam Reddish but I don't see it happening.
