Demar derozan is a "franchise cornerstone" and will never lead a team to the championship and has made several all star games he aint moving no needles either :yeshrug: his team legit the biggest frauds in the nba

Devin booker is about to get 156 mil and hasn't done nothing but put up individual stats on 55-60 loss teams.Salary cap is 101 mil salaries are inflated

I will not hold Toronto being unable to beat LeBron against Demar, because neither has anyone else in the Eastern Conference for the past decade.

Demar Derozan, a player that was drafted when his team was a lottery team (aka not in the playoffs) and developed into a multiple time allstar and olympian and just came off of a season where he lead his team to it's best record in it's HISTORY (59 wins, 1st in EC) didn't move the needle? Isn't that the exact definition of moving the neddle (turning around a franchises fortunes)? The Raptors most successful run ever happened during Derozan's time in Toronto, they past 5 years they have won more games in each year than they ever had in any single season previously (48,49,56,51,59). That's worth a max.

If i pay a player 20 million for one season he should help me win at least 10 more games than the previous season while having an All Star caliber season.

And every lottery pick that puts up numbers will do so for a bad team for the first few seasons, hence the team being in the lottery to select them in the first place.

Do you really think that Devin Booker will not be an All Star in 2018-2019 season? Is he not a franchise cornerstone in your opinion?

Why do you nikkas love being wrong so much? I told you Fultz was a bust. Just accept it. At best he turns into Eric Gordon somewhere down the road.

Hutchinson is Scottie Pippen lite. He'll be a perennial all-star. That crakkka won't.

And I'll wait for you to start juelzing in a few months when Zach Lavine is leading the league in scoring.
Fultz workouts in the off-season have been impressive, he is getting past the mental hurdles and reconstructing his jumpshot so it can get back to the level he was in college. He only played 14 games but he got to where ever he wanted on the floor. He will be much better next season.

Markannen is next in the line of Dirk Jr.'s. He is the Bulls best player and had a rookie season comparable to Kristaps Porzingis. Markannen isn't just a stretch 4 he has athleticism and is developing a monster physique, dude will only get better.

Also, you compared Hutchinson a nice sleeper pick to Scottie Pippen of all players :dwillhuh:

I get what you're saying but when derozan was zach lavines age his teams were losing 45-55 games and missing the playoffs.

No & No. who is booker replacing? curry, harden, klay, lillard or russ :usure: Booker is a souped up zach lavine he just gets to stat pad on a team that loses 55-60 games a year.

Well maybe if you didn’t resign non star caliber players like Mirotic and actaully let your tank unfold properly you wouldnt have this problem ....

The biggest issue with this move is the potential opportunity cost... now you are locked in essentially to Zach being your 2 guard of the future and if he doesn’t work out or doesn’t take that next step you've probably removed yourself from being bad enough to bottom out and get yourself a truly franchise changing player ...you’ve also tied up 3-4 years not looking at getting someone at that SG spot ...

I just want this team to pick a direction and stick to it... this is another half measure move to me Tanking teams don’t give out big money contracts to players unless they are SURE that they have star potential and star potential players usually don’t get forced by their home team to find restricted free agent offers from other teams
I hate defending this front office

But from their perspective, they didn't see march mirotic, happening as early as he did. No one saw it coming, but that wasn't the only reason we won more games then needed, east is utter trash and regardless of benching guys, sitting guys out , resting guys 2nd game of b2b, faking injuries, etc they bring in a guy like sean kildraftpick and he helps win several games down the stretch, because the east is just that bad.

It's becoming useless to tank as a east team. Then the new provisions come, so you somewhat understand the heel turn on tanking. As I said it's no use to stunt development and growth to Lauri dunn carter Jr valentine etc just to end up with a 7th pick. They need to experience winning otherwise Lauri will be on the 1st thing smoking out of here when his deal is up. Same with dunn and everyone else.

And the return for Jimmy was known, and a deal for lavine was known. Shouldn't have shocked anyone they matched him. It's becoming obvious that they simply wanted to avoid giving Jimmy the supemax, just like indiana wanted to avoid giving Paul George the super max it was never about a long tank rebuild. They got a guy in lavine who can get butts in the seats and be sold as a franchise guy for nearly half the cost it would have taken to keep butler. I think that is how they look at it. The rebuild talk only prolongs their tenure and excuses their failures keeping their jobs secure

Hate to say I told you so to many who really thought we would be this tanking team for years but it's now obvious that the change in plans was just buying garpax more time in office. :yeshrug:

You trying to get my attention for something?

Well I guess kinda yea, to inform you that the bar isnt good :what:. Isn't my post pretty damn obvious about that?

I love rap and made a comment about a bar I saw, constructive criticism nikka, also just my subjective opinion. I'm guessing you put that bar there because your trying to get peoples attention, get them to pay attention to you as a rapper but if I'm to assume that's one of your better bars you don't come off looking that good.

It comes across as a try hard attempt at kicking something deep and lyrical that may have been good in concept but fails in its execution. If you wanted me to expand on why I said that, that's it.

we cant keep "tanking" and adding 7th and 8th picks. that is the quickest way to lock into a roster that is treadmill

if we not going top 3 in the draft, dont do it at all. just compete. we can still have over 50 mill in space next year, enough for 1 max and some role players. let them compete, maybe get into the playoffs and showcase the roster we have to entice free agents.

The word is out on Chicago being a no go destination. All because the front office straight racist ragin colt good ole boo. All packaged and marketed as a character organization by the good ole boy style org.
