I think the theatrical jawn scared people off to even consider the director's cut. Might have to give this a look.

Agree with the OP, this really is a great film. I think most viewers had a hard time buying Orlando Bloom as a masculine, formidable warrior. But I thought he did a great job.

Movie is well done in my opinion

:ohhh: I didn't know folks felt that way about Orlando Bloom. I liked him in all the movies I seen him in.

what is the main difference? pacing? change of scenes?
45 minutes of character work (theatrical cut entirely eliminates a storyline that explains one of the main characters reason for doing what they do ffs) that takes the movie from feeling large and empty, aimless, and unfocused into the proper epic it was supposed to be.
