KH2 in a nutshell: Finally wakes up. Looks for fukkboy best friend who isn't such a fukkboy anymore. fukkboy became Ansem because he took that L from your other self. Succumb to the darkness, brehs. Helps you kill Xemnas. fukkboy redeemed even more.


KH Coded in a nutshell: Be the sole owner of your journal and not know who the fukk wrote a sentence in it, brehs.

The only "mindfukk" in this series is the time travel shyt in DDD. Everything else is easy to grasp if u just play the games.


With that said. WHERE THE fukk IS MY TRAILER?? I swear disney be on that bullshyt. They pulled the same shyt with the civil war trailers at the last D23.

And yea Kingdom Hearts will always "Revolve" around Sora. That doesn't mean Sora will be the main character of every Kingdom Hearts game. Riku/Roxas and Aqua all have fanbases that rivals Sora's and ANYONE of them can highlight their own game at any point throughout this series.

Honestly some of the people we gonna kill in KH3 Sora has NO BUSINESS delivering the final blow.

Roxas/Xion should be the ones to kill Xemnas
Terra should be the one to kill Master Xehanort
Ven should be the one to kill Vanitas
Riku should be the one to kill Ansem SoD
If Sora kills all of these people im gonna be so mad. Honestly only ones Sora has a personal vendetta against are Marluxia and Larxene. Maybe Young Master Xehanort but even he did more to Riku then he did Sora.

Yep. This is the Xehanort Saga (also known as Dark Seeker). They plan to do a completely new saga after 3. I assume Sora will still be the main character, but we might see a time skip or something between KH3 and KH4 (if it's called that).

Looks like I really am gonna play this series with my kids

The handling of this series is fukking terrible.

Ehh. I mean it is and it isn't.

It is in the public's mind which is understandable. The last main game was 10 years ago and will be 12-13 by the time KH3 actually comes out.

However when u know WHY then your thought process changes. Its been documented numerous times KH3 was planned right after BBS. But FFVS13 was in development hell so the Kingdom Hearts team was in limbo with FFVS13. Nomura wanted no one touching KH3 besides the original KH team.

So now SE has 2 choices. They sit on one of their top 3 franchises until FFVS13 is complete
Or they have another team work on KH games until the main team is done with FFVS13.

Thats why we have the handhelds. I don't know about yall but i'll gladly take the handheld games over no Kingdom Hearts for 10 years. BBS is the most important game in the series and DDD has the best gameplay of the series outside of KH2FM.

But again. I DO understand the frustration the public has who dont care about any of the behind the scene reasons and just want KH3. I just started high school when KH2 comes out. KH3 comes out i'll have a bachelors a kid and probably will be engaged

I dont understand how anyone can say the graphics look bad. The graphics look fukking amazing. The fukk do yall expect it to look like? Call of duty?

Maybe yall are judging it from the initial reveal and low res images. Have some 1080p in your life!!

Also im not sure if any of yall are really up on the Kingdom Hearts lore. Or if yall just fukking with this because yall like KH2. But there were TONS of reveals that happened in this trailer with the chess game going on. Here is the post from the kingdom hearts board that basically explains everything Square Enix just revealed to us.









Ok new revelations everyone!!!!. 1080p trailer for better quality!!!!



Ok. So at 0:22 we get the clearest shot of Eraqus side of the board.

He has 8 pieces on the field not counting the one Xehanort took seconds before and the one thats currently in his hand(We'll get back to those)

Pieces we can easily identify

Sora=Crown
Riku=Empty Heartless Symbol
Mickey=Mickey ears
Terra=End Of Earth(the one to the right of the crown)
Kairi=Star(It's Namine's good luck charm but if this is representing anyone it's Kairi)
Aqua-Stormfall(To the right of the Star)
Ven-Wayward Wind-(Right of Stormfall)

These are most likely our 7 lights(As much as i hate to admit Kairi being one)

Now for the last one. The one to the left of Mickey. I can't 100% pinpoint to anything in the series. But the closest symbol i could find was Eraqus keychain.

Look at that symbol. Flip it around now look at the piece to the left of Mickey. It "kinda" looks like it right??

Couple this with the fact that Sora picked up "Master Keeper" in the E3 2013 video. And in this video Eraqus himself is literally using Sora to battle Xehanort..... It makes sense..... "Kinda" Lol

Someone also pointed out that this could be the "Twilight Town Bell" And if thats the case then this is either representing Roxas/Xion. I honestly think this being the Twlight Town bell is a little farfetch'd But hey anything is possible since i can't 100% call it either

Now the big question is. HOW THE HELL IS TERRA BACK?

End of BBS secret video we see Terra and Xehanort having a discussion in their new "Terranort" fused body. Terra says Eraqus heart is still lingering within him. That plot point was never brought back up. Maybe this is what they were talking about??

When Xemnas and Ansem were defeated all the "rules" dictate that "Terranort" should of been the one that was brought back. But Master Xehanort himself was brought back and Terra is no where to be found. Obviously Eraqus has something to do with that.

But then again the conversation between Mickey/Riku/And Master Xehanort at the end of DDD Master Xehanort seems to hint he knows where Terra is and Terra is on their side.

But looking at the chess pieces on Xehanort side."2:21" is where we get the clearest shot of Xehanort side.

None of the pieces on Xehanort's side hints at Terra.

So all in all if were to believe these chess pieces are representing the 7 lights and 13 darknesses(Which everyone is) Then basically this trailer confirmed

Are additional "darknesses" next to Master Xehanort/Young Xehanort/Ansem/Xemnas and Saix with 5 more left to be revealed.

And don't even ask me how the hell Maleficent got into this. If yall can find anything else that number 3 can represent then be my guess to prove me wrong......... But yea..... That's Maleficent all right................ Kinda make sense. The light side has one disney character(Mickey) Why shouldn't the darkness side have their own disney character??(Maleficent)


Now for the final shot.... Excuse me while i fangirl just for a bit.... I mean this shot is literally showcasing the finale of 12 years in the making. But anyway here we go.

SORA VS MASTER XEHANORT.!!!

Yes we all know this is what everything is leading up to but Square Enix is basically shoving it right down our face right now. However what i want to point out is they are also showing us who is still "Alive" come the finale.

As you can see Riku is right behind Sora(this also calls back to the Dream Drop Distance Intro where they showcase "The Future" after KH2 and we see Sora/Riku fighting Master Xehanort)

Now there is a 3rd "Light" still in this battle come the finale as we can see but they not letting us know who they are. Im betting anything that it's "Kairi" though. Again as much as i hate that Kairi is gonna be participating in the biggest battle of the series after doing NOTHING for 5 games. I can't lie and say that the final battle involving Sora/Riku/Kairi wouldn't bring everything full circle and just have that much more of a impact for the fans.

I see people are asking how the hell Kairi is gonna be strong enough to be in this battle. And instead of yall bashing the "newcomers" for not playing the handhelds why not just answer their questions?? There's gonna be TONS of people coming here who only played KH1 and KH2. No reason to bash them for that.

Anyway the secret ending of Dream Drop Distance we see that Yensid will begin to start training Kairi. During the events of Dream Drop Distance Yensid was already training Lea(Axel). This is basically Kingdom Hearts version of the "Hyperbolic Time Chamber" created by Merlin and the 2 faires. Kairi can take as long as she needs in here and we'll just have to accept it.

Now for Xehanort's side. They are clearly showing us a couple of "Seekers of darkness" that are still very much active come the finale.

Right behind Xehanort we see one of the "Guardians" which is kinda a no brainier. Xemnas/Ansem being in the finale battle just makes sense.

We also see Luxord is here....... Don't think ANYONE saw that coming. But it kinda makes sense. With the whole "Time Travel" mechanic introduced in Dream Drop Distance why not bring back the only other person in the entire series besides "Young Xehanort" that can control time??


And we see Maleficent. WOW!!!!!!!! What the hell is that witch doing here??? We know she has her own motives going into KH3 that will also call back to the events of KH X(chi) (I think the mobile game is actually gonna be alot more important to the overall lore then we expect it to be. While im sure you wont have to play it to understand the general plotline of KH3. If you DO play it you'll understand all the little subtle hints KH3 will have however.

As we saw in the secret ending of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Maleficent is in search of the "Book Of Prophecies" Which is basically what (Kingdom Hearts X(Chi)) is all about.





So there you have it. Anything else im forgetting i'll edit this post. But yea. Square Enix just gave us a TON of "Story" info here that i don't want people to overlook with all the amazing gameplay footage we just got. I've never been more hyped for this game!!!

Word. Cause in the newer ones, they added shyt and didn't explain it too well. (Serious KH Series Breakdown Below -Spoilers Ahead-)

Let's see if I have all of this right...

Body and Soul with no heart = Nobody.
Heart with no Body and Soul = Heartless.
Body and Heart with no Soul = Death.
Extreme Negative Emotions coming from Vanitas = Unversed.

But, apparently now Nobodies can grow hearts. Which is why Roxas was able to cry and Axel was able to get mad in 358/2 Days.

Sora being able to Dual Wield in KH2 was due to him having Ven's heart. Once Ven awakens, no more dual wielding. (Or so we think...)

Roxas is using Sora's Keyblade. When Xion dies, his heightened emotions awoke Ventus's Keyblade, and that's why he's able to Dual Wield.

Sora having Ven's heart isn't the reason why Sora can wield a Keyblade. Sora can wield due to him merging with Ven's heart in the beginning of Birth By Sleep, which was also at the time Sora was just born. Since Sora's heart was strong enough to heal a shattered Keyblade Wielder's heart at birth, his heart was deemed worthy of wielding one. Sora just never had his own because nobody performed the ritual on him. Terra did for Riku. Aqua was going to for Sora, but decided not to, because she didn't want him and Riku to end up like her and Terra.

Sora having Ven's heart is the reason why Roxas looks like Ven. But he's not Ven's Nobody, he's still Sora's. Roxas doesn't have Sora's memories, because Sora was a Heartless for a short amount of time and then regained his human form.

In KH3D, Sora and Riku do the Mark of Mastery exam, in the realm of Sleep. When they complete the exam, they should be able to gain a new power to awaken Hearts. That should come into play once we rescue Ven. But that can't come into play until we rescue Aqua, because only she knows what room in Castle Oblivion Ven's in. So the first thing on the agenda is to rescue Aqua in the Realm of Darkness, where she's been trapped for 11 years. Kingdom Hearts 2.8 will touch on this more.

Xehanort is able to Time Travel. The rules for time traveling is that you must have a version of yourself waiting at that point in time, there's a time limit, you must leave your body behind, and you once you are at the most present time, you can only move forward per the laws of time (So basically, normally. He can't travel to the future). This means everything that has happened and everything that will happened is destined to happen and will always happen. Xehanort went to find 13 Darknesses and 7 Guardians of Light in order forge the X-Blade (Pronounced as "Key") and recreate the Keyblade War. This is basically what's going to down in KH3, the showdown. Xehanort has splintered himself into thirteen versions of himself, which is the true Organization XIII.

7 Guardians of Light: Sora, Riku, King Mickey, Aqua, Ven, Terra, Kairi. But since at the time of DDD Master Xehanort is back to his Birth By Sleep appearance, we don't know what's happened to Terra. It's presumed that Xehanort still has Terra in his possession. Leaving Sora, Riku, King Mickey, Aqua, Ven and Kairi. Kairi is going to be trained to wield a Keyblade because they need to meet the requirements of the number of guardians, while also needing to be strong enough to protect herself from what's coming. (Can't have Sora rescue you all the time...) The next available person would be Lea, formerly known as Axel. He's now regained his Somebody form and has his original Heart again. During the events of 3D, he went to Yen Sid to learn how to wield a Keyblade but wasn't able to summon one until the very end of the game.

13 Darknesses: So far, we only know of Master Xehanort, Saix (or Isa), Young Xehanort, Ansem, Xemnas, Braig (or Xigbar) and possibly Terra. Sora almost became one of the 13 Darknesses due to his Heart falling to sleep, but was saved by Riku, King Mickey, Donald and Goofy.

There might be more I'm forgetting, but for the most part, that's what you need to know.

I think the biggest news here is the Worldwide release date. This along with FFXV both having worldwide releases means it's all but confirmed KH3 will as well. Which would explain the lack of news. Voice acting especially for a game as big as KH3 takes time and if they doing a worldwide release that will take even longer.

I think the system'll be more or less how KH3 is going to work, but it seems that Sora gets some crazy ass upgrade that allows him to do the Attraction Flow ability. So we may not get to really try that part out.
