They are really milking Kingdom hearts :mjlol: nikkas got to own a ps3 and ps4 just to play all the games since they will not re release the 1.5 and 2.5 games to ps4 then Kingdom hearts 2.8 is just a DS game, rip cut scenes from the mobile game..... then just the 2nd half of aqua's story :camby: no one needs this shyt we all know what happens... kinda bullshyt that she did not run in to Micky or riku when they were trapped there... ever more bullshyt she did not run in to Sora or Riku when they were there... but watch square enix come up with some bullshyt excuse why Micky, riku and sora did not see her while their are there. :heh:

How is it any dfferent from metal gear?

The fact they condensed it to 2 systems from 5 is good enough. And honestly if they did just release DDD on ps3 yall would complain about them staying on last gen.

Also theres a very good chance DDD will get the "final mix" treatment and have additional bosses and cutscenes.

"Back Story" is a "retelling" of KH X(chi) story told from the perspective of the foretellers. So ill take this over the dumb cellphone game.

As far as the in game reason why mickey left aqua in the dark realm. I kinda agree. We knew ever since Re:Coded secret ending that Mickey and Yensid knows where Aqua is but for some reason he has yet to go get her. That damn mouse been scheming since BBS :francis:

However its not as simple as "Why did aqua not see them" The dark realm is well A ENTIRE REALM. Its not just the place with the rocks and the beach. Lets not forget that during the entirety of KH1 Mickey had his own adventure there retriving the Kingdom Key D. Also in the bbsv2 trailer we see destroyed worlds also fall victim to the realm of darkness (castle of dreams) so there are countless places Aqua could of been when Sora Riku wound up there. Also lets not forget that Roxas and Xemnas were there for a brief moment as well.

But yea mickey finally coming clean on everything so they got my attention. :whew:

Mickey at one point did run into Aqua. All logic points to this being when Mickey was on his own adventure retrieving the Kingdom Key D to help Sora close the door to darkness at the end of KH1. The question is why the hell did Mickey not rescue Aqua then??

Not to mention this is a KH3 demo in disguise of plot relevance to the overall series. We could of just got the DDD remaster and that was it. But we got much much more

:scusthov: at you defending bad story telling..... Mickey aint plotting shyt... SE simply did not think about Aqua being in the Relm of Darkness when they first made KH1... then they made KH2 and they hinted at past keyblade masters.... SE makes the story up as they go.... but i can tell you;re a fanboy

Smh. Obviously. What series 8 games in with a overarching storyline is mapped out from the beginning?

Im far from a fanboy. I just get upset when ppl bash kh when other series do the same thing(metal gear ff7 yakuza assassins creed)

The facts are there arent any major retcons in the series plot wise. Until it is the story is fine.

one i don't like Metal gear... story is shyt and its even more confusing then KH. and i have the right to Bash KH if it want, i grew up playing the games... now that i am older i realized the story has to many holes in it.... there is a game where the storyline is decent and its not full of holes like KH, Mega Man comes to mind... and you're a fanboy stop lying to yourself :heh:

Whos the fanboy now:sas2:

Lol all jokes aside ive just been seeing alot of kh bashing ever since this announcement and it doesn't make sense.

Kh3 was never going to come out before the DDD remaster. DDD is needed to understand KH3. Not to mention these are 2 different teams. So the production on this is in no way stopping development on KH3.

We also know theres no way KH3 is coming out before FFXV. And its been confirmed FFXV is launching next year

So now we get the DDD remaster we all knew was coming plus a KH3 demo in disguise of the telling of Aquas 10 year story that was teased to us 5 years ago and somehow SE is incompentent and this "series is shyt"

Lmfaooooooo :why:

The metal Gear Solid story makes complete sense to me now with all the games they've released. It's a confusing storyline to follow if you didn't listen/watch every cutscene and play every game. I think MGS 3, MGS 4 and MGSV did a great job of filling a ton of the plot gaps and questions most people had. Anytime you have a game with cloning its bound to be tough to keep up if you don't make it a point to pay attention. The draw back is, some of those cut scenes were far too long winded to bare and people disconnected from the story a bit.

Why this isn't on the PS3 boggles the mind. The entire series minus DDD is playable on the PS3. Hell DDD should have been on 2.5
As for why this game is only on PlayStation 4, rather than also on PlayStation 3, director Tetsuya Nomura says it’s because the collection is supposed to preface Kingdom Hearts III and that it uses Kingdom Hearts III technology—specifically in Kingdom Hearts 0.2 and Kingdom Hearts Chi: Back Cover.
It can't run on PS3 because it has KH 0.2 and some other shyt. Sounds like "Ground Zeroes" to me.

KH: DDD will be a complete remake

He’s then asked about any other additional elements that are being added to the three titles in HD 2.8. Nomura says that all three won’t just be simple HD remakes. Since KH3D is going from two screens to one, it’s practically a complete remake.

Don't expect KH 3 anytime soon hence why they decided for II.8 2017 release confirmed

According to Nomura, it looks like it’s going to take a little longer until we can play Kingdom Hearts III, so he wanted fans to get a taste of Kingdom Hearts III’s world sooner than later, and together with KH3’s prologue that is KH3D, and a title that uses some of KH3’s tech. They thought about finding a way to put it all in one package, and decided to have it on the PlayStation 4.

This also shows that KH3 announcement for XB1 was premature. They probably assumed XB1 would be outselling PS4 this gen and wanted to play it safe making it for it also. I'm betting had PS3 been as dominant as it was back during the PS2 gen, KH3 and FFXV would've probably stayed PS exclusive.

Tetsuya Nomura explains why Kingdom Hearts 0.2 is a PlayStation 4 exclusive
8 Comments

In an interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu, Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura explained why the recently announced Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep: A Fragmentory Passage is a PlayStation 4 exclusive.

In the interview, Nomura revealed that, because Kingdom Hearts 0,2 is being developed using Kingdom Hearts III technology, it can only be developed for PlayStation 4–instead of being developed on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

Recently, Square Enix announced Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue for PlayStation,

When announcing the bundle, Square Enix described A Fragmentary Passage as a “completely new playable episode” that links to the story of Kingdom Hearts III and takes place after Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

New Kingdom Hearts III and 2.8 trailers coming tomorrow

Here are a few screenshots to look at while you wait.
Square Enix showcased the latest trailers for Kingdom Hearts III and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue at the D23 Expo Japan Kingdom Hearts Premium Theater event today.

Unfortunately, the trailers have yet to be published online. They will, however, be released to the public on November 4 at 3:00 p.m. JST (November 3 at 10:00 p.m. PT / November 4 at 1:00 a.m. ET).

The Kingdom Hearts III footage didn’t introduce a new world, but it did showcase a new Heartless and Nobody, as well as a new Attraction Flow attack seemingly based on Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. There’s also the complete version of the chess scene between young Xehanort and young Eraqus from the previous trailer.

The upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue package includes Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance HD, Kingdom Hearts Chi: Back Cover, and Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep: A Fragmentary Passage. The latter is a completely new title that leads up to the events of Kingdom Hearts III. The new trailer showed Riku, Kairi, and Mickey together at Yen Sid’s place.
