It says I've learned how not to be bothered by cognitive dissonance. A good person wouldn't buy a game console or an iPhone because they're made with minerals known to be mined by African slave labor. I'm the type of person that can say I don't really care I'm buying it anyway since I enjoy it. Its just like I can hear that game director is a POS and not really care.

I just think it's comical that people who bought game consoles derived from African child slave labor are lecturing me about some guy that made a game for those boxes just having fukked up views. Like their stand against him has a higher meaning than taking a stand against companies that use exploitive labor of African children to make boxes to entertain us. It's all ridiculous.
Sound just like the nasty cac incels defending their behavior too. :scust:

Yes you can hold a moral stance about a subject or person despite the fact that we all have benefited by the immoral actions of a larger society.

By your dumb ass logic, there is no morals cause you can always point to something else that came first.

Now you’ve gone from just being a weirdo to a damn dummy too :stopitslime:

Grimace was 54 not me and I don't even know what the hell huni pop is. My decision to live a non-sex lifestyle has nothing to do with anything.

You just can't come to terms with the fact that your purchase habits support African child slave labor but you think you're taking a stand against a major issue because a racist fukk was one person that worked on a game.

Your means of dealing with this after having it pointed out it to attack me to relieve the tension. You'd support a corporation exploiting and harming nations of children that look like you simply to entertain yourself but I'm immoral because I'd purchase a game a known racist worked on. You're a lot more like me than you'd like to think. I just don't bury my head in the sand about being a bad person.

did you get me confused with someone else, idgaf if you want to go buy 18 copies of this crackers game I'm just saying the people arguing with you look as goofy as you do :russ:

I'm not defending anything. I'm saying I don't care about how the products I make are produced and who is in that pipeline I simply care about getting what I want. The rest isn't my problem.

You on the other hand are saying the pipeline selectively matters when it's convenient for you for it to matter. When it's inconvenient for you to take that stance because you'd have to deprive yourself of something you want you turn a blind eye to it but have the nerve to lecture me when I'm essentially doing the same thing and being honest about it.

I'm not saying there aren't any morals I'm saying don't lecture me for something when we zoom out you're basically doing the same exact thing. You're turning a blind eye to something immoral because you want to be entertained.

Then you have the nerve to hurl racial slurs at me that don't even apply, use straw man arguments, and insult me because you can't come to terms with it. At least I'm adult enough to say I accept responsibility for my behavior rather than blame it on society at large and pretend like there's nothing I can do when these are things I've simply bought to entertain myself. You could decide to not support businesses that create products by exploiting child slave labor but then you couldn't play video games at all and you can't have that at all can you. I could decide to not purchase a game that a known racist made but then I couldn't play this one. Not much difference.

Since you wanna emphasize black folks the slave labor is black children that did nothing wrong. You seemingly feel no guilt for them or not enough to not condemn me.

The elephant in the room is FF16 is racist also but some of these same folk played that with no problem, and not only no problem but couldn't even acknowledge that it was "wrong" without making excuses.:mjpls:

:mjpls:

I haven't played a new FF in generations. What's racist in it?

In a nutshell the FF16 director said it wasn't realistic to have black people in Medieval times. And he made sure there wasn't a 1 in the game, they got brownish but never too dark lol. :mjlol:

Summons and Chocobo's however, well that's perfectly acceptable :russ:
