It says I've learned how not to be bothered by cognitive dissonance. A good person wouldn't buy a game console or an iPhone because they're made with minerals known to be mined by African slave labor. I'm the type of person that can say I don't really care I'm buying it anyway since I enjoy it. Its just like I can hear that game director is a POS and not really care.

I'm not defending anything. I'm saying I don't care about how the products I make are produced and who is in that pipeline I simply care about getting what I want. The rest isn't my problem.

You on the other hand are saying the pipeline selectively matters when it's convenient for you for it to matter. When it's inconvenient for you to take that stance because you'd have to deprive yourself of something you want you turn a blind eye to it but have the nerve to lecture me when I'm essentially doing the same thing and being honest about it.

In a nutshell the FF16 director said it wasn't realistic to have black people in Medieval times. And he made sure there wasn't a 1 in the game, they got brownish but never too dark lol.
