King Von: Rap's First Serial Killer

Not to defend these horrible acts, but if his gang was at war with a rival gang, these murders are different than what a serial killer does. There are soldiers with 10+ kills on their belt and we look at them as heroes. That may be why some people look to Von in a positive light.

I think killing is bad, personally, but if these people were actively trying to kill Von and his friends, I can kinda understand it. If these murders were random or just for trivial shyt then it’s a lot worse.

The difference is Rap fans like people like Jay-Z or 50 Cent. People who did what they rapped about but were about making money. Money and success were the primary goal of them hustling. Not murder itself. King Von didn’t seem like his focus was on getting out the hood. He liked to murder people. He was a sociopath.
