but seriously I spent 8 years in DC (uptown and columbia heights) and the city is definitely a different world compared to Moco, PG and ESPECIALLY Northern Virginia. I would only leave the limits to go to the mall or get some ethnic food.

I agree with all of this. I have some really good friends still in the DMV. Just as a whole the average cat from the were haters and get withs. There are some killers but they like to do a lot of frontin' even on that level. When I used to be in SE the adjacent neighborhoods would come damn near DAILY and shoot up each other neighborhoods without hitting a DAMN THINGand it was because nobody valued their property and it's not even a poverty driven area like a Detroit, Baltimore etc...there IS a thriving job market in DC. The one thing I still love about DC is the women though. Met some of the best ladies ever while in the district
This cannot be denied.....I remember years back they used to have a spot called club H20 next to the old Phillips seafood ....man we stop in there during a midweek happy hour and the level of black beauties in there here INCREDIBLE
......I mean this was some top notch material I'm talkin bout....and they was single ready to mingle had they own dough and would buy you a drink(possibly after you bought them one)......all were professional beautifies, breh a nikka was impressed. 
Atlanta is hood fab wit it, LA is Hollywood fab wit it....NY is NY and Miami is Latin bunny heaven.....but DC is a rare breed all in its own right.
