During my guided demo, a member of developer Massive Entertainment logged into the app while three other players explored Brooklyn on their PlayStation 4s. Once the app-user joined up with the players on the ground, the tablet displayed an aerial view of the block which they were exploring. The tablet allows a player to become a drone in the environment, and they are privy to a suite of skills each with its own specific cool-downs. Tapping a skill loaded it up, and then tapping somewhere on the screen engaged the ability in that area. Many of these were classic MMO staples, such as an armor buff that boosted the stats of your party, and a healing spell…err…whatever drones are capable of that revived injured allies.
Like I said. All they have said is "we got one too" but they have not confirmed which features are available, when the app will be available or how it will work with the ps4. Nore have they demoed this or any of their other features working.
What was working at e3 was ubisofts companion app. Not the ps4 app

You gave me proof that ubisoft made an app to go with their game. This has nothing to do with the ps4 or the ps4 app.ignore reality when I just gave you proof..
You claimed the ps4 app can do all of the smart glass features listed here. Do you have proof of that?
the Xbox One has features developers can use to maximize the potential of their games with the Kinect's abilities and SmartGlass. Sony is not gonna want people thinking the Xbox version is the definitive version cuz of the potentially added features. We seen this already with Sony adding trophies to their system post-launch. SmartGlass will get copied and pasted, lets not kid ourselves here.
