I have alot of books on Ibooks but If I'm on the go it's hard to read on the phone sometimes. Kindle is cheaper but I heard it's hard to convert and transfer from apple. Which is more convenient and makes sense?
I tried to read on the iPad for years and had my mind made up that I would never enjoying reading something that wasn’t on actual paper.
Then I bought a kindle paper white on sale and my opinion completely changed. I use it on a daily basis and love it. I still get physical copies of books I really like and want to have for sentimental value but about 80% of what I read now is on the kindle

I use an Android tablet. It feels more modern than a Kindle and fits in with the rest of my personal tech ecosystem.

If you are reading library books, you can send most directly to a kindle and/or read through the Libby app so you should be good.

Out of iPad vs Kindle, I would take the Kindle because the it is a smaller form so it would be more comfortable to hold if you are reading an eBook for a few hours.

yes but you have to a program called calibre (its like itunes for books) to convert them to a kindle compatible format called azw3.
Ahhh ok! Good looking out

I might’ve pulled the trigger but not sure about having to do that xtra step for all my ePubs

Kindle - who wants to deal with glare, eye strain, and shytty visibility in high light tryin to read on an iPad? kindle is lighter, smaller, cheaper and better for reading, as someone who loves reading outside or by a window, no way in hell you can do that for hours comfortably with a ipad
All this plus you don't have additional apps and notifications to distract you from reading.

As far as transferring/converting files like @Nightmare said it's really easy to convert to .mobi with Calibre.

kindle screen is dead ass like reading from a book, shyt is even that off white/grayish color book pages are. i've never had an issue with eye strain on a kindle even reading for 8 hours straight on vacation

depends on how much you want stored locally, since you're using non kindle books, might make sense to have more storage
