I've yet to see any media say Kim is litigating these cases and is doing the foot work.

every prisoner who gets freed doesn't necessarily do so through a court case. a president or governor can commute their sentence which is what was claimed to have happened in at least one case concerning Kim K (where there was already people who'd done most of the work)

so yes, there is an implication that she's responsible.

There is even a tweet by Kim K stating it was her attorney. The lawyer posts on her fb she's been doing this nonprofit long before kim k heard of case. she is not kim k attorney. kim k came in last minute and got the credit.

a judge "freed" xyz...do you interpret that as the judge randomly freeing xyz OR the lawyers either proved/failed to prove their case. in other words...why be selective with how deep/literal to take words only when celebs or politicians are involved

"Her legal team" could also mean she owns a legal firm, why didn't you interpret it like that too
