But you don't know her as a person, all you know is media perception? lol. I just came back from Paris, to fake something like that in Paris in it's current state would be dumb as hell. They'd really clamp down on her if it came out as fake considering the man power that had to be used to look into it and protect her.

That place is on mega terror alert and army/police are patrolling most busy places with machine guns. Police can barely tend to petty shyt it seems so some foreigner coming and causing this havoc would be unforgivable.

Pretty sure CCTV footage will drop soon anyway. I think it is a real situation but these guys will find a way to capitalize off it, it's what they do.

Ok

For it to fetch the $10 mill it's allegedly valued at (how is this known by all these media sources already) it would have to be sold as Kim's jewels on the black market.

Otherwise, if they wanna cleanup the serial etchings, fence it etc and sell it as generic jewelry, they'd be lucky to get $2 mill out of it. Jewelry has terrible resale value.
Nobody is paying full value unless it's at the store.

And let me bring up a couple other points:

If these dudes stole a 5 carat ring and this other jewelry, jewelry which Kim could give very specific pics and descriptions of, WHO IN THE HELL ARE THE ROBBERS GONNA SELL IT TO? No jeweler is gonna buy that, he'll know what it is, and know it's hot. There's literally no clientele to buy it, so it's worthless.

2nd, anyone who has ever bought jewelry retail, then tried to trade it or sell it, knows that they would get about 20% of its purchase price or appraised value.

Stealing jewels and getting $ for it in 2016 is a lot more difficult than it used to be. Nah this is complete BS the more I think about it.

You didn't read the article I see...

not saying it's the Pink Panther gang for sure, i'm no expert. but i remember watching a doc about them (might have been from Vice?) anyway, they seemed to be the real deal. like they pulled some heist movie type shyt. and some of them seemed to be in it for the art/game.

The stolen jewellery was probably taken out of France within hours of the robbery and the Pink Panthers are thought to have a detailed and enduring network of 'fences' who have plenty of experience of turning booty into cash.

so they selling the jewelry to pimps. makes sense.
