Some of the most outspoken homophobes were secretly gay themselves, it’s a pretty common defense mechanism. They’re ashamed that they gay and thus go over the top with their hatred towards gays in an attempt to convince everyone that they’re not.

Crazy childhood and things like being in the closet and CTE all created this perfect cocktail of a killer but I think the final and most important ingredient was he was a sociopath. He seemed to have no remorse and almost a denial of his situation while awaiting trial.

you could see someone with his upbringing and why they’d have huge issues because of it but ultimately to kill people in cold blood like that with no remorse it takes more then just a messed up childhood it takes a sociopath who’s dead on the inside. I mean if he wasn’t dumb and his his tracks he could have gotten away with it and with the way he overreacted and took everything as a personal slight imagine how many more bodies he’d have right now if he were free
