Sneak Attack is not a classic-album, but it has some great tracks IMO:
- Hot (classic!)
- Hiphop Knowledge
- Shutupayouface
- Get Yourself Up

Plus, it was KRS' first album in 5 years, after I Got Next (1997). I was in dire need of a teacha-fix :merchant:

The cheap production and edited curses hurt the record. The Pete Rock remix of get yourself up is better than the whole album.

I guess I agree with you on the mediocre production value, but that is a problem with all :krs: albums after the millennium, save Hiphop Lives & Meta-Historical. Also, the track Hot has epic production bij Jazzy Jay!

after 911 this album catapulted itself to a classic for me. i bumped it in the summer like a fiend cuz it had some tracks from maximum strength

i remember the reviews were like :snooze: but at that point everyone was busy dckridin the rawkus movement which i was never big on so to me this album was :bustback:

but after the attacks this was a blessing in disguise

i never liked the hook on "the lessin" and was never a fan of shutupyaface yet most think that song is dope where as i love "krush"

"knowledge reign supreme but only a few like the sound of it.."

i never heard anyone say that song was dope but i do my own thang

i also wished there was a remix to hush. it seemed the more toward the end of the LP the weaker it became too.

i got no problem if people not feeling the album, it doesnt have to be classic to anyone else but me.

ghetto lifestyles- :whew:
why
attendance
mind- :ohlawd:
what kind of world- :ahh:
false pride- :wow:
raptizm- :jawalrus:

as far as the remixes to get yaself up i preferred the original and that bass because it amped me up. pete rock and that other rmx were cool but i felt the original captured an energy.

kristyles? another classic.

KRS has like 7 or 8 classics to me :yeshrug:

I live in Holland and would like to buy a physical copy of this album (already have bought it on I-Tunes), without to much shippinggcosts, but can't find it anywhere.. :shaq2:

Any suggestions for European online-shops?
