His last 3 movies have ranged from terrible to outright garbage. That's especially bad considering that's not only consecutive, but a whole third of his filmography.You’re tripping. Part 2 wasn’t as beast as 1, but it’s still a good movie, especially as a companion to 1.

Hateful 8 is great. You probably didn’t like it because it was dialogue heavy and lacked action.
Django and Basterds were very good. Death Proof is the only one that’s been meh, but it was more of a “tribute” to drive-in cinema b-movies. I haven’t seen OUATIH yet, so I can’t speak on it.
The fact you call those movies garbage is

The difference between those and H8 is that H8 only has 2-3 different filming locations and the flow of the movie feels like it never changes vibes since it’s following a “day in the life” formula.
