This is a B.S. trade and they did it to for the Mariota deal. This basically opens cap space to build around the our new franchise QB we are about to get. But the one thing a Rookie QB needs most is a good running game to take pressure off him. LOL @ a injury prone LB being a good trade for one of the BEST Running backs in the NFC. The Spin is pathetic. Some of these same fans jumped up and and down when Djax was let go only for Djax to ETHER THE SH!T out fo the Eagles and Chip Kelly. WE JUST TRADED OUR BEST RB.

They were 28 & 31 and nowhere near the game changers that a 26 year old LeSean & 26 year old DeSean are.

NO ONE thinks their best production is behind them

Not to mention they were able to flip Richard Seymour for a 1st round pick from Oakland when he was past his prime.

Sure, Pats dump or cut vets. But they usually get amazing value out of it. Or have sound logic. Eagles cut Desean and let him go to a rival for nothing, and now trade a top skilled player in the league for a LB with a shredded knee.

McCoy is more than a RB, he is a weapon and a match up problem in the passing game. I wish people will let go of the myth that you don't need a great running game just because their has been some exceptions.
