Every issue can’t possibly be brought down to liberals vs conservatives. People who do that are mentally ill. My made up word for it is “politically retarded”
public policy isn't ideology waged through politics? :comeon:

It’s demoralizing to the student. They should be treated at the school.
If you have a cold they send you home. If you have covid they send you home. They do that to prevent it from spreading throughout the school. Most schools only have one or two School nurses who aren’t equipped to deal with it.

Plus getting kids to not spread stuff to other kids without quarantining them is impossible. How is that not demoralizing?

If you come to school extra musky, you are going to get your feelings hurt. Kids that wash don’t have head lice. What you are talking about is what keeps kids from learning valuable life lessons.

Lice isn’t caused by bad hygiene. It’s harmless and no one should be sent home for it. They should get treated in the nurses office and sent back to class.

Everyone is so soft now a days.

Are you white?

Do you really think parents/media are going to be like :manny: when their kids come home with live bugs in their hair? Have you been in a public school lately? Who’s supposed to treat it? It’s not about being hard or soft. Your take is just dumb cause it just ain’t happening.
