Take him by the white boy house and make him knock on the door and have him come outside so he can beat his ass off school grounds and not get suspended. And have his cousins and shyt there in case the white boy people wanna jump in. This is A1 parenting advice and a good way to build character

All that back in the day we used to fight talk is nonsense. They were shooting back then as well. Gang banging was serious in the 90s in high school, especially the early half. Did people forget about the clear bookbags a lot of high schools had to implement because guns were being brought to school?

We had medal detectors but we would actually put our book bags on the table while we walked through the medal detectors, and get our book bags on the other side. So nikkas just put the guns and shyt in they book bags.

People just love to overstate how crazy they think the worlds is currently to how crazy they think it was back in the day. Most people don’t mean no harm, they just got selective memories and be prisoners of the moment.

Maybe I'm :flabbynsick: but I don't understand why this intimate teaching moment between a parent and child was recorded and then uploaded for the masses.

She said some good things, although I think any race is liable to retaliate with a weapon if you humiliate them in public.
Because everyone wants clout the new crack rock. Parents cant even parent anymore without putting in on social media.

I agree though not everything needs to be posted up . I would be pissed if my wife was holding the camera talking to my son in a real moment like that.

It makes no fukkin sense to me. Like doing that shyt to me undermines what she’s saying.
I'm a huge proponent of being present for your children. Looking them in the eye and giving them 100% of your attention. Especially in a serious moment such as this. I wouldn't ever undermine that by sticking a phone in their face mid discussion. What's even the priority at that point? Getting your message through to your child or performing for the internet?

It's crazy to me as well

I've been hearing this nonsense since before I was a teenager. "We used to fight back in our day" Gun violence has been an issue since the 70s. Kids I went to school with sneaking guns past the metal detectors. Several classmates killed in their neighborhoods after school. High school quarterback graduated and shot dead in a driveby. The 90s were not this nice friendly place revisionists try to make it to be

The reason I decided not to become a teacher is because my HS principle got shot at school.

I graduated college in 98, so this has to be like 96.

I personally took a gun to school before cause niqqas was on my head. In like 92.

SOHH....

I do believe this sort of drama amongst the youth is not new. Maybe they are totally afraid to fight and only shoot?

Cause besides the gunplay, my generation we're very comfortable squabbing too

Exactly, all the 'back in my day we used to just box' talk is nonsense. The generation that was born in the late 70s to early 80s and started going to high school in the early 90s was the one raised on Boys in the Hood, Menace to Society, and that was when gangsta rap and gang banging really took off. Cats were bringing guns and knives to school, getting jumped into the gang or just getting jumped period in the bathrooms or just having fights at the skating rink across from the school.

The real problem is our problem resolution has to always involve some kind of violence. Teaching kids that they should fight instead of shoot isn't going to do anything because the minute one of them loses a fight and the whole school is clowning them, that person is going to get a gun and here we go into that cycle of violence yet again.
