She's confused if she's framing school shootings as a white boy problem.

statistically mass shooting are 74% a white boy problem. that generally what i think of when i think of person who brings a gun to a school, a mass shooter.
if you talking outside of school though you have a point. black kids aren't usually the ones shooting up the classroom, but he can still get caught lacking walking home.

My advice woulda been
Catch that boy by himself and tell him it was just jokes but don't talk about moms. If he seems shook and or apologetic then you can apologize for stepping to him like you were gonna beat his ass. Dap it up and Kim.
If he talks unapologetic let him know he gonna force you to discipline him so it's best they just cut out crakin on each other. Then check whoever tries to instigate.
But that's diplomatic.

Right they most definitely are.
There is an increase in gun play though. All our middle schools and high schools have weapons detectors now. There have been way less guns in campuses as a result
