I don’t consider forums social media…forums been around since the dawn of the internet and clearly society was ok. It’s once you started putting pics and video and influencers and other “algorithm” determined content out to kids that shyt went left.

That said, even forums can breed extremism due to the way people of similar beliefs can gather and radicalize one another, so they’re not blameless either, but they also didn’t have the same reach
