10 mil per year :francis:

3 million dollar pay cut only for a guy who cant play a full game anymore let alone a full season:francis:.

He should be making 6 mill per year if he gonna play this year.

I was hoping he would retire. That 13 mill off the book would have been nice breh.

There's only 5.5 mil guaranteed. It's "worth up to" 10 mil from what i saw

I would assume theres performance shyt attached to it, but i really don't know. Gonna have to wait for details

I dont mind it for a year though. Im a huge fan of Mailata and think he can take over after next year. But I know that's a huge homer opinion

It’s a one-year deal.

I’m all for re-signing JP, injury issues and all. Not only is he still one of the better LTs in the league even at his age, but what other options do the Eagles have? Vaitai isn’t good, Mailata is a compete unknown. Even if you take a guy high in the draft, there’s no guarantee he’ll pan out in the NFL and it’s better that he would walk into a situation where he has time to learn behind a veteran talent instead of just chucking him into the fire, protecting Carson’s blindside, and hoping it all works out.

I was saying even before that it’s worth it to keep Peters and now, not only do the Eagles do that, but he’s taking a paycut too? That’s great news. If he gets injured again, the Eagles aren’t too hurt cap-wise. And if he doesn’t? Then his contract is worth every penny.

I'm guessing Nelson is gone if he doesn't take a pay cut. $9M salary is top 20 WR money and he ain't that.

Would like to see us go after John Brown as our deep threat WR
Either him or Tyrell Williams. I wouldn't complain if they brought DJax back, even though he's older. It's a pretty good draft for WRs, too.

Y'all wanna get rid of Peters when there is no Peters replacement out there for us. You see what weak ass Trent Brown just got paid.

I totally agree, fam.

Agreed here, too.

I hope so (and yeah, Snell is a good pick). I trust you and the homie @NYSTATEOFMIND when it comes to player assessments.

Also...wouldn't we all rather that the team try to RESIGN Golden Tate first, versus bringing back DeSean?

Snell is a decent RB- I am not huge on him but he is a tough runner and a willing blocker- to me he can be had in the late 3rd ot 4th round- he is kinda slow and lacks explosiveness but he is reliable.
I am much higher on Jacobs, Damien Harris and Sanders from Penn State and my sleeper of Devine Ogzibo from Nebraska
