When I finally got around to rewatching this with the sound off, it wasn't as bad as it looked initially. Conor tdd was underrated. Khabib didnt really brutalize him and even showed signs of fatigue himself. For whatever its worth, it looked like Khabibs toughest challenge till Conor gassed and gave up his back like a bish. Tony chokes Khabib out. Tony is my new favorite fighter

I get what you're saying to a degree but looking at the fight statistics it really was a beat down. Conor had control for like 18 seconds on the graphic I saw. Khabib had more strikes, takedowns, etc.

If it was Khabib versus anybody else we may not think of it as one-sided as it was. But the fact he did this against Conor, everything is amplified. A Khabib mauling looks that much worse when its against the cocky Irishman

Im not going to argue he folds when he's tired. And his boxing gets sloppy. He was not the same Conor as in previous fights. This was the worst he's looked in the ufc. He looked slow and powerless even in rnd 1. Bit according to his coach the gameplan was to get Khabib tires and look for a late KO. Kinda like Mendes. That was a horrible strategy and Conors coaching has always been suspect imo. All of that I never left my team shyt is costing him. He should probably train with more accomplished coaches.

It was very bad. I posted before, that Conor didn't even dare give himself a punchers chance by loading up that left. Shyt is like Curry refusing to shoot in a game.

I was convinced dude knew that he was gonna get mauled no matter what, so I thought for sure if he threw 10 haymakers, he might clip Khabib once. Easy Mac was shook from the jump, plain and simple.
