I doubt that, he’s a counter puncher. He’ll do everything to protect himself from a take down. This isn’t mendes, khabib will be bigger then him

Gut instinct says McGregor will have the first 30-45 seconds to try and catch Khabib with something, or else.

Khabib said he doesn't plan on just rushing in but that he will press forward. So basically what everyone expects: he'll stand and throw early as a misdirect to setup a takedown and pounce the moment McGregor drops his guard, over commits, whiffs a punch, or gives any opening to get grabbed. So it's going to be about McGregor's timing on his punches out the gate

I want McGregor to loss on a personal level as anyone. But disregarding his reach and power while relying him to gas. Plus, Kahib doesn't have a Nate Diaz cement chin. We don't know if can take a combo from McGregor. His reach will give him problem.

This is a scary match up where you have to pick your posion. Mcgregor probably won't give him inside clearance to take him down and use his reach.

It really comes down to how Khaib handles those strikes. I JUST don't trust his chin.
