The ray rice & to some degree Adrian Peterson ruined ESPN NFL shows when they dedicated a whole yr to them. They didn't stick to football/sports like they were suppose to...it became a personal opinion platform.
None of this shyt matters because it doesn't matter who's on screen they're all parroting the "story" that's decided by the producers. If Peyton talked to regular people on a level that he actually understands tactics and schemes and thought and trends that go into a drive or even a single playcall most people would be 
I'll never forget the first speech my college coach told me where he said if you can't draw up another team's entire offense against every front and coverage we have then you can't play.....and we got tested on that shyt and their random questions about their tendencies every week. For example, if it's the 2nd quarter, they're on their 32 yard line, it's 2nd and 7 on the right hash, it's 21 personnel grouping, the back is at 6 and a half yards what play are you expecting? That's just in college a decade ago. It's only gotten so much smarter since then so hearing Gruden dumb himself down to growling and talking about a hell of a throw is painful.
