I don't pay as much attention to all those shows now that I'm no longer in college but back when I did I never thought he was anything special, it seems like Cris Carter became the go to dude for opinions on ESPN as far as ex-players go, he's all over ESPN radio while Keyshawn is just a sideline nikka. I don't get how Shannon Sharpe is out there jobless, whenever I hear dude do radio spots he is funny as hell, plus from the youtubes I saw of him on First Take a minute ago I thought he was good on there as well.
Shannon might be back on TV soon

I liked it better when Michael Irvin was on there. They replaced Irvin with Johnson. Johnson has gotten better over the years, but losing him isn't going to hurt the show. I've loved Ditka on the show, but he is getting so old now that he needs to be replaced. Would love for Big Tuna to replace Ditka, but that probably won't happen. Would also love for Peyton to be on there, or even Monday Night Football.

Y'all nikkaz can't see the satire in that quote about manning being network president :what:

Key was a bust as an analyst considering how entertaining he was during his playing days. ESPN has a terrible track record lately of hiring ex players as analyst. NFL Network is killing the game.
nah, the players espn hires are fine, they just end up espn'izing them into a homogeneous groups of talking heads. Keyshawn would easily be much better on the set with Deion and Irvin on nfl network. ESPN makes every ex athlete :russell:...ryan Clark, Ray Lewis are both :snooze: :dahell: now
