Not really. He deaded the show when he felt it was leaning in that direction. I don't think Dave started his show with the intention of white people loving. Key and peele not so much

The main difference between Chappelle's Show and Key and Peele is they don't care that it's white friendly in fact they seem to embrace it and Chappelle did care and didn't embrace that. His brand of humor was always accessible to white people though which is why his show was so successful. It just took Dave a while to notice they were laughing at him not with him.
