the budget this show gets is just
yeah. its crazy. they be having so many recognizable black actors come in for a 3 minute skit
and the make up and wardrobe is always the top of the line
But they are in season 4 and sill going strong. so i can see why cc got faith in them
I always thought this. Their budget must be ridiculous. Makeup, music, wardrobe, cinematography: All on point.
It was funny, but what made it more funny is that he looked like Martin Luther King Jr.

When I first saw this shyt, I was like
... shyt was just over the top. But low key, really good. Just not knee slap funny. K&P have been getting better. Not as corny...
I still see a lot of their stuff firstly as social commentary sketches with light humor as opposed to comedy that broaches social issues.
They've never been LOL funny to me. And probably won't be. Writing is pretty strong, however.

this new season is classic so far. they seem to be clicking on all cylinders and producing some great material. not the biggest fan of the new show format, but i enjoy that they arent using the fake Chappelle's crowd setup anymore.
ive liked the show from the gate, but alot of skits would be too long or the joke would be dead by the end of it...this season they seem to have the formula updated a bit and its working.
