What? How is it a problem telling an obese women or an obese man for that matter they are in danger of having health problems because of their weight? How is it a problem if anyone with sense would consider it a red flag if they ever were to get with them? Kevin Samuels stats seem to be taken directly from his ass. I cannot find any source that puts the average weight and size of a black man at 5'10 168lbs.

Ive been searching for the past 10mins.

However i found the source that confirmed that men were 166lbs and 5'9 in the 60s. That same source says that men of tofay are 5'10 200lbs. A similar gain..

Thanks. I didn’t frame my question right but that is what I was curious about. How women have gained so much more weight in the last decade or so compared to men. He claimed that the average man only gained 3 pounds, while the average woman gained 40 and that discrepancy is what didn’t make sense to me. Thank you for doing the research

bmi is good for the assessing the general population, since the vast majority of people don’t work out nor do they exercise

that’s because the 168lb stat actually comes from the upper limit of a healthy BMI for a 5’9-5’10 man.

5’10 200lb is the real average

True and that is one thing i wish he clarifies. Men have become bigger as well, the same as women and the stats are easy to find that prove those numbers. Both men and women need to lose weight and it should come from a desire to be healthy first, not attraction.

Thanks! My question wasn’t framed right lol. What I meant was how have women gained so much more weight in the last decade or so compared to men. He claimed that the average man is only 3 pounds bigger while the average woman is 40 pounds bigger. It’s that discrepancy that didn’t make sense to me. I know why men don’t gain weight as much as women, but that sort of wide gap with the weight gain led me to believe that something else outside of the normal factors was contributing to women getting significantly bigger compared to men. Another poster just confirmed that Kevin lied. The average man is actually 35 pounds bigger than he used to be. That makes more sense.

Hopefully it was a giant oversight, but i typed in "average weight for u.s. male" in the search bar and the first hit was 198lbs for black men. Using that number he does for men as an reason to black women to lose weight i feel is wrong. All it takes is for a 183 pound women to see the actual number for men and say, at least i do not weigh more than a man and keep it pushing regardless of their situation.

I think he is an intelligent entertainer, not a dating expert. Most folks who turn into Kevin's Samuels show aren't high-value. HVM/HVW can afford a private matchmaker or dating therapist. Most HV folks aren't spending their nights watching this mess.

However, Kevin has figured how to get an audience watching delusional women/men get roasted for what we already know about them. Even if Beyonce came on the show, he would mention her 3 kids, ex-drug dealer BD. If she didn't have these problems, he would use her attending his show as a sign of her low-value.


In short, he says nothing unique. We already knew women are getting larger. We already know that women with baggage aren't getting high-value men compared to women without. His ability to roast brings in an audience.
