I remember in my younger days how militant I was and how optimistic I was about the potential of our community turning it around.

As I've gotten older, I realize it's a lost cause. Too much dysfunction in the community. Too little accountability.
I was like that too until my dad told me basically to chill out and wait till I see more, and I'm thankful for that advice. I wouldn't say its a lost cause though. Its just like Kevin said in a recent show, basically that you don't need 100% of the people to be on aboard. You just need around 10% to achieve a tipping point. I say we're going to need to practice exclusion though if that is accomplished, because we got some toxic elements that need to.. go get some therapy lol.

Most grown Black men are childlike, breh.

No one respects the Black man.

The world admires our ability to rap, sing, play sports, etc.

But, when it comes to the real shyt in life, no one really believes we have the capability to consistently perform at a high level.

As much as Kevin holds up a mirror to Black women, we need someone who does the same for Black men in good faith. Because, as I get older and look around, there are very few Black men who are serious about making moves.
That’s ironic because I looked at kevin samuels old videos and that’s exactly what he did. I learned that most people hate what they see when they look in the mirror so they’ll hate you by default if you’re the one that’s holding the mirror.
