Pay him $100 bucks a night to help him organize the calls and check the sound.
It takes a lot to do a show like this with the volume of calls, viewers and chat.

but to be fair in the beginning trolls used this tactic to throw him off course and would have him trying to figure out what was wrong with the sound 5mins at a time

People stream all the time by themselves with nowhere near the same amount of issues. He likes to say he is building a plane while trying to fly it, but that can not be forever. If you are having consistent issues, you need to fix it.

To be fair I get why he doesn't look at the chat because it can be distracting especially when he's flowing but I've never seen this happen twice in one show. Just get his people to alert him on his phone and he'll be straight.

Either look at the chat in the first few minutes of a call or give the moderators a number to message him when this is happening. I watch streamers with the same or more viewers and they have no issues looking at chat, which helps them with tech issues.

You see streamers with these numbers, taking multiple callers and video callers, with no producer?

I've seen a bunch of youtubers/twitch guys with a lot of viewers and big chats but they have tons of mods and are just communicating with the chatroom.
They're not taking multiple video calls. And even those guys have problems that stop down the show.
The bigger shows have producers.

I watch gamers that not only read the chat (members only mind you most of the time), but also the super chats they can get to during the downtime they have. I am not saying you can not have technical issues, but if you know you have a tendency to have no sound in your calls you need to pay attention to the chat.

Agreed.

It's still a little different with all he's doing. He's running his cams, fielding calls, switching the vids, checking his audio levels, watching chat, playing sound drops, etc.
A decent producer cleans up all these issues. From all of the vids I've seen, it's actually pretty remarkable that he doesn't have more of these mistakes.

A producer to screen the calls would help, but he just needs to stop muting people when they come on. Who cares if they troll? Just hang up and move on.
