We live in a culture that doesn't celebrate fatherhood and mens contributions, so you end up with men who don't think its a big deal to abandon a child or refuse to get married and have kids. Dudes are questioning whether its worth it, and it doesn't help when you have media that tells people that dads aren't important to the family and men shouldn't be inspiring figures who can pull a family together.
I can only think of one mainstream show that shows a strong model of fatherhood( this is us) but the rest of the time kids watch and read things that show people having abusive or non-existent or absolute inconsequential fathers.
Why SHOULD a man commit? Thats the question that modern feminists have a hard time answering and you can even see it in the video. Theyre not interested in asking what it is they do to chase the men they want away, but its easy to sit there and complain about what men SHOULD be doing for THEM while failing to answer why he may commit to one woman but ignore her. Then when a dude like Kevin samuels tries to break it down, they don't want to hear it. They just want someone to tell them its the mens fault and they need to change.
