men are visual (even he says this), our judgement gets clouded when we see someone we think is fine and we become other than ourselves.

Lotta men just wanna be loved. The HOH comes from us seeing that women are incapable of loving us unconditionally outside of our mother. Some of us accept this and move “red pill” to some degree, others still chase the fairy tale that “the one” exists.

As an engineer, I wholeheartedly agree with this.

Been there, done that. I’d rather not go back down that road. It’s one reason why I don’t care about a woman’s career or money, just as long as she’s productive.

I did the high value/earning woman thing. I’m good on that for awhile.

Just admit you’re intimidated by high value women who make a lot of money. Newsflash: nearly all doctors have an ego. Doesn’t mean that makes them bad potential husbands or wives. You’d have an ego too I’d you spent that much time in school and excelled to the point you’re a doctor.

And like I said...they tend to date fellow doctors or medical providers. I see people saying sure they get married in college but that’s not always true. Oftentimes they get married afterwards in residency. When they’re broke and heavily in debt. Marrying someone with similar debt, and leveraging dual income is a common practice in medicine.

What do you guys do? Where did you go to school? Because I’m not sensing “high value male” energy here. I sense single dudes who just love finding examples of women struggling to find a husband. Like that validates you as you fail to find a girlfriend.

I never looked at it that way, I understood paying for another man's kid, but when he broke it down like that and then he stated that the GOD sent man that she prayed for and wanted, the man that matched what she was looking for, he will still lose his life if it had to come down between her kids and him.

exactly. This why im hoping brehs use this as a wake up call. For years brehs dismissed this stuff as “only on the internet” not realizing a ton of women feel this way they just keep it to themselves.

Good analysis on the state of the black church. Biggest issue I’d say is the church is caught up trying to be black peoples friend, instead of being the stern leader that is needed. Church will accept any and everything out of fear of losing members, and the fear of losing members is due to the loss of funds that comes with that. Money has taken over.

Im not saying all churches are suffering from this, but quite a few are. I say all this as a black man looking for a church.

yeah lotta folks dont realize this is what thinking black men have left the church. My mom for a while was telling me to find a church near my house, but couldn't understand why I wouldn't just join any church. My dad had to talk to her then she chilled off. Funny enough my dad understood my reasoning no issue.

I forgot who said it but in the modern church only reason you see a Man in there is cause of a woman (his wife or mom), he likes men, or he getting paper from the church lol

That is why I said the prime century (1870-1970). The prosperity movement that permeates mainstream Christianity to this day focuses more on money than people living righteous.
