Most of the Black community is poor and working-class, of course, he was going to offend folks. A small number of Black men actually meet his standard, 100k in ATL is around 245k in NYC, Bay, LA, and DMV and most Black college-educated/advanced degreed folks in those cities ain't making anywhere near that. Unless your a hermit living in the woods, youre full of shyt. Human beings are social creatures. Everything we do is for validation from our friends, family, and coworkers. If people around you think lowly of you, your life will be negatively impacted, whether you care or not.

Dude makes good points. And I was embarrassed how corny dudes was arguing with him deciding what a High value man is. Home boy said living at home with parents but hooking up with chicks is high value. Lol. I thought the women were delusional.

How many shows do people just straight up tell you that healthy competition improves you? How many shows tell overweight and women with baggage that they might not be as competitive in the dating market the way Steve Harvey says.

One thing I really applied from listening to him is your image/style and also social media. I don’t really dress up when I go out unless it’s a upscale place. But I do dress better more often than not. Also I travel a lot but really don’t take pics of myself like that. I invested in better quality dress clothes, shades, and post pics of myself traveling more and already see a difference overall in a few areas in my social life.

“janitors and trash men are valuable, that doesn’t make them high value”.

I don’t remember the exact time stamp, but it’s around 1 hr 30 mins. I think.

I had an old dude tell me back in the day to get a tailor to get you nice but cheap suits you can even get "made exclusively for" on the suit. I was a teenager so it flew over my head. When I got my first corporate job where I had to wear suits to work. It made sense. You got to get a suit tailored anyway so it makes sense to order seven or so made for you.

Nowadays there's online suit companies that offer the same thing but your buying sight unseen. But that being said a decent tailor can hook you up for a couple hundred per suit.

I'm not even asking for a donation for the information.

And he is right teachers, janitors and trash men do jobs that are needed by society but they are not seen by society as high value and definetly are not paid as such, so what exactly is the issue?
