One of my favorite mangas was derailed because of pressure on the author
nikka was sick because of Shonen Jump telling him to work faster and Wrap It Up
So you think you just going to jump into an industry like that
Making $80 million dollars
Then you are a black woman
Ain’t nobody going to take you serious and will close doors on your ass faster than the Roadrunner
nikkas at Pixar ain’t making that much
Hell illustrators have to take multiple jobs to make ends meet
Sure you can make it but to get to the money like that and be independent
Your work has to be above top notch
Or a niche/unique/very intriguing story/premise
Even if you get funding from angel investors
Your work better be on par with One Piece /*insert favorite manga*

It does feel like late stage capitalism and "get the bag" mentality sets unrealistic superficial expectations, and low quality work. We are in for a RUDE awakening when this era abruptly ends....a society full of superficial people weren't never meant to survive.

group economics is dead. We had our chances and blew it lol. The concept we viewed black in in the last decades is coming to an end (the same way pre 1865 there were different groupings that post slavery all got grouped together) so it isnt even worth holding on to it. We are moving into a new era, what the new identity will be i dont know but the “one big group of black folks” thing is a wrap.

the only advice i can tell men is get with someone who makes you happy because you gonna have to weather this up coming storm and be able to rebuild from the ashes.

they were coddled 18 yrs of their life. They never stood a chance, the issue is their families send them into the world where they become our problem. Pretty much a generation or two that is bush status. Its beyond cooperation, the current gens dont even have the skillset lol. Gen X And Boomer women had the skills but were just renegades, these chicks are renegades AND have zero skills
