Again dress how you want. We all treat people dressed a certain way differently. That's just something we have to deal with.

Ok, im done. Yall are literally unable to have this conversation without hyper focusing on wp, like they the only ones with standards.I barely encounter wp in daily life, i dress respectfully for other bp.

There have always been black elitist shytting on a certain segment of black people for hurting the "image" of black people.
Of course they don't say who they are trying to improve our image for,but of course we all know based on the rest of their rhetoric.
You are literally cosigning a man who said we should name call black men who don't dress the way he deems appropriate.
Says the fellow boule should call those embarrassing black men who are not dressing properly "crazy","thugs", "gay"
He doesn't care about black men,just the black elitist men who think like he does.
The boule can continue to do their boule thing,trying to be just like white man and assimilate,while tearing down poor less educated blacks,this isn't new at all.
Suits are his way of making it easy to identify which black men we should discard and which ones we should call "high value".
He wants us in assimilated negroe uniform so black men are easier to seperate,whos poor who aint,whos educated whos not,who deserves respect who doesn't.
And this is fine btw,we can seperate as black men when our mentalities don't match.

OP phrased the question wrong. Brothers should own their image! Instead of making people portray us in the image that we like.
Yes, image matters a lot when trying to get money. This is not a racial issue it's a money issue. Money, real money is not done during business hours everyone should know that but maybe cats don't know. So during those times when one needs to get that money on should be dressed at their best. So it's not for who but what!
