Before Kevin Samuels focused on women he definitely inspired me to buy a tailored suit. I’ve always had suits but never tailored. I was like “ why to spend so much money on a suit?” But now that I have two it’s almost impossible to ever go back now. Lol

But in the last 30 years we’ve seen hundreds (maybe thousands) of clips of Black men being beat, abused and murdered by the police.

In all of these videos. How many of the Black male victims were wearing a suit at the time?

Go look up lynching pictures. I don’t see anyone wearing Jordan’s. I see suits and dress clothes. Self hatred....

2. The reason Steve Jobs, Zuckerburg and other successful people wear the same basic fit every day is based on the theory of Decision Fatigue. Successful people don't spend valuable brain power on mundane things such as wardrobe

I get his message, but like I stated before them fits and the typical mindset associated with them Black men in suits events is some shyt I cannot cosign. The fits are generally tacky, on the nose, and on some cargo cult status tip. And if you don't understand the space you are in you can end up looking like a jackass wearing those type of fits.

Kevin is corporate but comes from sales, and if you understand the corporate hierarchy you know that sales is generally not an upper class/blue blood space (even though they can make serious bread), so alot of middlebrow shyt is co-signed. Probablt why he was rocking alot of middlebrow tacky ish just a couple of years ago.
