It just doesn't help anything, man. I've been married for going on 12 years and my relationship is good because I expect my wife to grow and hold her accountable for it. It can involve tough conversations but at the end of the day she feels safe and taken care of when I keep it a stack with her rather than pandering or falling into "Happy wife, happy life." We can't expect to come up when we protect feelings instead of having standards.

They cause more harm then good. All this lying and pandering has done nothing but hurt. It has hurt our relationships, it has turned the lot of us into liars/manipulators, and it has hurt the overall community.
All we have to do is tell the truth, and I swear things would get so much better in our community. We cannot fix anything when you got mafuccas lying, and just telling folks things that make them feel good.
We love pleasure, and have become addicted to pleasure and gluttony. It is killing us, because that love of pleasure doesn’t allow for us to fix our problems. Can’t fix them when we won’t even acknowledge them!
