The vast majority I know own their own companies. Usually a sole proprietorship so when they hang it up the business ends with them. I worked with a guy who had his own consulting Business but refused to sell it to a much bigger firm. He claimed he worked too hard to grow the business over the years. But he was only a few years from retirement anyway. I would've stayed on after he sold the company. But he had no interest in growing the Business above 4 or 5 employees.

Sure, ok, but continue to leave out the fact those women have to work, because the family is living above their means. However, a single guy already making enough to cover both his and his potential partner's income is not marrying any one of his colleagues. It's literally why upper income mid-30s women bytch to every news outlet they can find they can't find men they want who want to marry them.I have a 1% mid-40s first cousin once removed in NYC who recently married a Korean artist (MFA in some type of art) who's around my age (a little more than ten years younger.) He wasn't about to spend the rest of his life getting nagged to an early death by a late-30s overweight single mom just because she's in finance too.
What they do is play this semantics game with "education" by pretending all degrees are equal and equivalent. As you stated @Arbitrage!, pretty much the only commonality between a high income man and his wife is a college or graduate diploma. Normally, the wife's diploma is a BA in English or something, but her husband's is far more advanced. If said man meets his wife in university, it's much more likely she'll be average-looking, but if he stays single through his mid-30s, the fanciful notion women dream of and out-of-touch dudes here chirp about just does not occur.

People don’t like empirical facts. They like subjective and anecdotal shyt that confirms their own world view. You can take that however you want to. That’s all I’ve really taken from this KS stuff, this thread, and his overall popularity. Breh literally makes up numbers (e.g., you need X amount of money to live in ____ with 3 kids). Fundamentally, I can’t jibe with that.

Tbh, I respect that and appreciate it. Capitalism practiced by Black folks isn't really about greed, but more so making sure we can put on as many people as possible.

I've already posted facts, you're posting emotions. The highest earning professions in this country are engineers, lawyers, doctors, etc. Who are they married to? If you're making six figures - which is what I'm talking about - you are statistically more likely to marry someone making similar money. That's just a fact. It's clear most people in KS threads have never been around successful people and live off this man's ducktales.
Let's go a step higher, to the people making even more money than doctors and lawyers. Who do CEOs marry? Who do high profile politicians marry? Show me the housewives brehs. The majority of them are married to successful women who make good money. I get why KS doesn't know this - he's a gay man who has never been in a real relationship with a woman; and no I'm not talking about make pretend marriages where you pretend to be a regular guy for the masses. But what excuse do yall have?
End of the day this comes down to an obsession with power, and the ego of men who can't handle the fact that women are lapping them in the economic race. Not all or most women obviously. But KS threads are NOT full of Coli brehs who are lawyers, doctors, etc. Yall are working at warehouses, Amazon, retail, and whatever else talking about "I don't care what a woman makes." Well she cares what you make, which is why she ignores your ass. But instead of taking that as a challenge and bossing up, brehs sink into a corner and allow con men to tell them "actually you aren't the loser. SHE'S the loser and it doesn't matter how much money she makes." Good luck with that.

Piff is speaking about the upper middle class which is correct and you two are speaking on the top 1% which is also correct.
BUT I specifically remember nikkas clowning in the other thread about some girl wanting a dude who made 500k a year. Now why were dudes clowning? Because you know it’s damn near statistically impossible to meet a black man making that much in a year. The majority of hvbm salary wise aren’t in the top 1% so why even bring that up as a counter argument?

You either end up with a black person who's making someone else rich. Or a black person who doesn't want any other black people to be as successful as them. So they purposely won't expand their business so it can't grow after their gone.
