- Basically what he knows about the Vince/Macho beef is that it started when Macho no-showed a houseshow then didn't show up on Raw and was on Nitro without warning.

Makes sense considering how he shyts all over luger. For savage and rude vince just kind of shuns them

The Poffo YouShoot pretty much explains the beef.

In 87 or 88 there was a house show where the old timers was having a battle royal. Savage's dad wanted to be in the battle royal. When he asked the higher ups in the WWF, they said they wouldn't let him preform. Savage was upset for two reasons. The first was that the higher ups wouldn't go along with his request. The second was that he felt he dissappointed his father. From then on Lanny said it was all business with Savage and the WWF officials.

In 94 Savage wanted to have one more run. It was supposed to be with HBK. He had the whole program planned out. HBK would win a title, Savage would celebrate with him backstage and then turn on him. This would lead to a lengthy program. When Savage suggested this to Vince he said you need to stay in commentary.

When Savage finally left Vince was salty because he took the Slim Jim sponsorship with him. Originally WWF was going to have it. I believe in Nash's timeline 1995 he says he was going to be the spokesman for Slim Jim but then they eventually followed Savage into WCW.

Now if you think about it, when Savage left Vince did that farwell on Raw. So maybe at that point Vince was pissed but he really became angry when Savage took the Slim Jim money. I believe it was confirmed in Bret's book that Vince was sad when Savage left in 94. But Vince being sad is different than him having a beef with Savage. I really believe the anger started when they lost the Slim Jim partnership. Remember all of those WCW events sponsored by Slim Jim (e.g. Halloween Havoc?).

Fast forward years later, Savage was talking about the HOF with his family on his father's last birthday alive. He told his father that the only way he'd go in is as a family like the Von Erichs. This made his dad happy. After his dad passed he wanted to keep this promise. This is what Lanny and his mother claims.

The whole rumor of Savage having something to do with Stephanie is b.s. It all started from that promo he shot for his MachoMan.com site where he says he'll smack HHH and take his girl.

The other rumor is that Savage and Hawk got into a scrap in the 90's backstage because Savage was acting inappropriately towards a female. Some have linked this to the Stephanie rumor but it has to be b.s. The last time Savage and Hawk were in the WWF at the same time was 92. How are you going to have your champ have relations with your daughter :usure:? Doesn't add up.

You also have to remember that Savage and Vince had to be on some kind of better terms before he died. I mean he did shoot two promos for Mattel and THQ. Again, if he really was involved with Steph why would Vince allow him to film these promo's?

The only other rumor I've heard is that Savage smacked Vince at a bar . This is something Piper tweeted after his death.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread, but this needed to be said :ld:.

Imagine how great a feud that would have been especially if HBK had beaten Razor at WM 10 and then begin that angle :noah:

I remember being genuinely surprised every time I learned he was involved in a TV show/movie

I was like......Nash was in one of the Ninja Turtles movies? :wtf:

Nash was in the Punisher movie? :wtf:

Nash was in an episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch? :wtf:

To me, Nash just seemed like one of those wrestlers who was big in the wrestling world, but who would never get a chance at TV/movie roles....I guess his height gives him an advantage for those type of roles :manny:

Yeah...that's cool. His size would give him a spot or two but his hypotheticals are funny. He makes it seem like certain BIG roles were gonna be in his lap:laugh:

Watched it. One great story that hasn't been related here

You might want to actually hear it first :wow:
WWF was in the UK. On they day they were set to leave, the IRA launched dummy rockets at Heathrow airport. Since they were going to be there for a while, Nash, Hall and HBK bought some hash. They smoked some with a soda can, ate, and then went for a walk. They bought a real pipe and went into an alley to smoke more. While Hall was preparing it, a bobby cop confronted them. Since he only had a whistle and a nightstick, Nash was about to take the cop out but Hall managed to hide the evidence at the last second :ooh:

Nobody mentioned how he ethered Jericho:

*Some fan tried to take a shot at him by saying "how often do you get stopped in the airport, I know it's important to you", referencing how he said Benoit/Bryan/Punk/Eddie don't get stopped/recognized in the airport

He responds by bringing up how it's just as much about not getting tried in the airport. How when people see a wrestler and think "fukk he's small, I can kick his ass" and he has to defend himself. He didn't bring Jericho up by name, but he was clearly referencing the incident with Jericho at that mall 3 or 4 years back where he was fighting fans.

I mean, how can someone expect to be a major draw in the fake fighting business when average women aren't afraid of fighting you?
