Kevin Nash is tired of WWE forcing black wrestlers into Sambo roles.

The Heartbreak Kid was my favorite of all time until now :sadbron:
I mean it's a character. The person playing him is a piece a shiy, but doesn't negate he is considered a GOAT cruiser weight. Michaels was the first white American wrestler to use Lucha Libre wrestling from what I recall. His hurricanrana was top notch as well as his head scissors take down.

That's why Michael's vs Brett Hart was gonna be huge. Both were literally the best technically skilled performers of that era.

But like Malcolm X said about entertainment, we shouldn't confuse the character for the actor.

He knows what kind of people are running WWE. He's thinking rationally because he doesn't need them to survive financially.
Nah. It's nothing new. Years ago he publicly stated the catch phrases and style of the NWO was inspired by gangsta rap. He's been talking like this for years if you follow him.

WWE News: Kevin Nash reveals origins of nWo catchphrases, talks West Coast rap, Tupac

Kevin Nash reveals origins of nWo catchphrases, talks West Coast rap, Tupac

Some of the nWo’s notable catchphrases include—“Once you jump in nWo, you’re nWo for life”; “Don’t turn your back on the Wolfpac”; “Hey yo”, catchphrases that are till date considered some of the most beloved in the pro-wrestling world.

The heart of the matter

Kevin Nash elucidated that when he and Scott Hall first met, the latter was sort of a country boy, whereas Nash was born in Detroit and was a Motown guy.

Furthermore, Nash explained how several nWo catchphrases drew inspiration from West Coast rap, besides also speaking about Tupac—

“Once West Coast rap got really hot and especially Death Row it was we began listening to Death Row a lot in the car and there was this old Mack 10 song and in this Mack 10 song they rob a McDonald’s and one dude says to the other dude in the car that he’d been wanting to do that for two years and the other guys says that he’d been wanting to do that ‘for life’. So that is where we got that.”

Most of our catch phrases and those things we did we got from West Coast rap. Immediately, I remember I put my headband on backwards like 2 Pac—here is a thirty five year old white guy with his headband on backwards but it worked.”

My uncle told me back in the day when he was a logistics manager at this trucking company that Stone Cold used to work there and he was cool as hell. Said he would drink with them and hung out with everybody, one of the few white guys that did. Said he used to always say he wanted to be a professional wrestler too

Nash is always on the right side of this shyt. But this battle is beyond him.

You know
This guy :dead:

I remember watching wrestling as a yute and my pops coming in the room while Akeem was on the TV.

My pops hit me with the "da fukk are you watching?? :dahell::snoop::scust:"

The disappointment I caused my pops that day :sadcam::mjcry:
What was “Akeem” character before when he was feuding with Bam Bam? He was better off with that. “Akeem” was a Vince humiliation ritual :mjpls:

You know
That I get..
I mean this new age contrived McMahon bullshyt.
McMahon has been out the picture. I don’t know how old you are but if you’re a 80s millennial.. it’s doesn’t need to be explained. I started watching during the late 90s in the “boom period”. If you didn’t grow up in that era I don’t know how to explain it :pachaha: Every one my age was into it. The product has gotten interesting recently and I still check it out from time to time. (Also McMahon was not the only one with a wrestling company)
