someone please explain to me how this life insurance thing works.ok, maybe i didn't read right or too fast, but how can they force her to keep a life insurance on her that her ex will be the beneficiary of once she dies.

Actually he does, more especially than most cases. Because they actually worked together and ran a joint business. She didn't just divorce him, she basically fired him and took over their company. If your boss fired you, just because ya'll had and relationship and a broke up, he would still owe you unemployment, severence pay ect. He definitely deserves something. Now if they had just been a couple with separate professional lives, like he was a doctor and she was on tv. that would be different. But she basically had him working as her agent and producer. She could've just as easily continued their professional relationship while ending the personal one if she didn't want to divy up the assets. People have done that before. The Rock still works with his Ex-wife for his career.
