Don't really get the theatrical release with these stand ups.. Outside of his movies these type joints should be just video on demand, netflix, or HBO specials imo:yeshrug:
I think that fact that he does so many so often. It devalues the impact. Dude sold out a football stadium and we are all like :yeshrug: that s should have been his second major release. But I'm sure Chris rock can do that too.

Do you realize how much money he's earning from this shyt? Look it up and you'll see the reasoning. And to be fair, it's not like there's many other, if any, comedians that could pull off what Kevin Hart is doing.

Oh no doubt I know he's getting chipped off nicely for these stand ups.. but they really don't enhance his brand or body of work imo. Its like a rapper that has a new mixtape every three months.. These stand ups with the goofy title names are basically mixtapes. Nothing memorable, didn't kill, didn't body nothing, nothing controversial said, no memorable jokes to repeat with you friends, nothing. I'd tell dude to branch out a little bit, lets see some acting chops, do a drama.. he's more than paid now so take a few risks here and there/every so often so when these stand-up-mixtapes are released we can really appreciate and enjoy them

Doin stand up has a certain rhythm to it like boxing...It's more physically/emotionally taxing than doing movies because you're out there for 45 mins or so night after night, city to city with no breaks, so if u stop it's hard to get back in that groove if you been away from the ring too long... (Roy Jones, Foreman, Iron Mike) That's one of the reasons Eddie said he stopped after Raw.. Jamie & Chris only do it every couple years now...and Dave, Martin & Chris Tucker just look tired even though they're doin it for the fans and we love 'em so much still wanna support those brothers no matter what

It was just:ehh: to me, LAMP was basically his Raw and he's failed to top it imo.

It's a curse.. If you get lucky enough to have a Thriller/Raw/ Purple Rain/Death Certificate/All Eyes On Me in your career you gon' spin your wheels trying to top it.. Maybe you'll get lucky and pull a BAD/ Dangerous or Sign 'O The Times but it's a one in a million shot

I'm not a Kevin Hart hater like a lot of brehs on here so I went to support.

Keeping it real I only enjoyed the 1st half of the stand up. The spy portion and the second half were boring

I just came back from seeing it with my wife. 6/10

I laughed more out of wanting to support him than him actually being funny. I think I'm done with Kevin's comedy for a minute. :francis:
