For a minute, we were about to see an OUTDATED Eddie Murphy or Indya Moore (new Pose star great actress no shade as host) hosting The Oscars. The Oscars SOLIDIFIES your legacy. I'd rather have Kevin Hart as The Oscars host than Tiffany Haddish any day of the week

They still havent announced a new host and for he & Ellen to say this stuff means there is definitely discussions taking place to have him still host 
but he shouldnt
