It's not as if Epps came out of left field shytting on him or going at his neck, he was asked a series of questions on a radio show, one was most overrated producer and he just so happened to name Kev :manny: I swear man, he's a hoe for overreacting. None of this would be happening if he could just respect another man voicing his opinion. I think Kev is butthurt cause deep down he knows Mike was airing out the real :lupe:
:what: Seriously, even if you not a fan of Kevin Hart, how can you think that Kevin will feel over rated when all of his movies do $40Mil plus. Dude was in multiple mid budget movies that did $90-$100+ million.

That's not even speaking about his standups selling out stadiums. Madison Square Garden sold out twice in a week.

With all that, who in their right mind will feel like..."damn, that out of work comedian might be right. I might be over rated." :lupe:

Its not about whos the funniest because there is NO SUCH THING. No comedian can make everybody laugh. Every comedian has his/her own demographic. Kevin's demographic is way larger than Mike Epps.

This is Mike Epps fault for pigeon holing hisself as a hood comedian. All them "hood jokes" don't translate world wide.

Not to take away from Kevin Hart's success but all that criteria you mentioned are perfect reasons why someone might call a lesser comedian overrated.

Think Dane Cook.

I like Kevin by the way.

Hes overrated because he's hailed up to be the #1 black comedian in the game right now, and a lot of black folks just don't think he is

Yet they force him down our throats and put him in almost every black comedy movie.

Mike Epps just said what alot of people have been thinking. But i think under these circumstances it might of been better he not say it because it just looks like hatin.
He's the hottest comedian in the game.

He's not being forced down anyone throats. There's an obvious demand for the guy and he's fulfilling the obligation.

Hart puts in work.

Not the biggest fan of either.

Kevin Hart is just not my style. Just straight up dislike his antics on stage.

Saw a Mike Epps special once...and shyt just wasn't funny. Said "nikka" every other word and that turned me off.

Either way, these dudes shouldn't be doing this crap publicly. How is this a good look for either?

I seen KH live and he funnier to me than Epps. However I think Epps got a point not to mention be able to roast KH like Jamie Foxx did Doug (im your conscience)
