He's made a lot of indefensible statements, he's a product of prisons and poverty, the kind of reading you do in prison, and his own marketing abilities....I love his music though, dude is emotive like no other in the game, personally I can say his music has resonated with me on a real level of empathy, when it comes to the streets, as well as heartache and regret about personal relationships.
This isn't good for his career, he was on the verge of really moving up a level, and this takes him down. He spent the early part of his career in and out, and it's a testament to his talent and some luck he managed to get on and make a lane. If he can release a little music, and maybe come home in 18 months, I think he'll be in a good position. Financially though, this will put him back more then a few steps.
