I guess I'm one of the rare ones that ain't feeling this project like that.
The Intro was hard, the album was no longer aggressive after that. I'll give it a couple of more listens.
I like him opening up expressing himself and his emotions. But was looking forward to more aggressive music especially to workout to.

I felt like that at first two but once I gave it a 2nd listen im really enjoying the album. He said he been going through alot over the last two years thats probably why it's a emotional album

People really enjoy almost 20 songs of a rapper crying his soul out??? No wonder so many of these whiny dudes are popular. And that stinks, cause Gates is actually one of the better dudes in that emotional thug lane. This album sounds the b-grade versions of stuff he’s already made.

I finally listened and I kinda agree with this. The album is just ok to me. A couple joints I really fw and some others that felt...repetitive.

Big Lyfe - 1/5 - uninspired trash
I'm In Love - 1/5 - wtf going on
PTOE - 5/5 the albums begins, Gates using a few of his proven writing methods to create a banger, if you like gates this made ya playlist and got ran back 2-3 times before moving on
Stepping - 2/5 ok now wtf going on
Bad For Me - 2/5 not a bad song but he could make this song in his sleep, on his off day
Body - 5/5 we back! classic Gates play this on the way home from date night finna drop dikk off in ya old lady
Scars - 5/5 this is GATES ran it back several times instant added to my personal gates mix
Mine - 5/5 wait my bad this the one you bump on the way home from date night, "Body" you bump on the way out to the spot/function
Shoot My Shot - 0/5 fresh off a possible divorce you wanna run trains with ya potnas? nikka what the fukk all the goofy shyt this nikka done said on IG and podcasts this is unacceptable keep that fukk shyt out the music man
