2024 squad is more talented offensively, but that 08 team had a bunch of dawgs.
A healthy KP though is the x factor. His shot blocking and range on offense would pull KG out of the paint.

they match up better than you think jaylen is a much better athlete and shooter than Pierce..playmaker too..and I don’t even like Jaylen brown

You realize the 3s in Pierce’s era were a lot harder to make since everyone wasn’t capable of shooting?
When Pierce retired he was top 5 all time in 3s made. I dont know how you concluded that Jaylen is/was a better shooter than Pierce but you need to cool it.

That’s not true at all. KG was known for making dudes shook. The primary exceptions were other players that came from the hood for real like Kenyon Martin. KG would definitely have today’s Gen Z players shook.

Jaylen Brown has never had a season were he averaged more than 3apg, yet he was a better playmaker than Pierce? Not only that but Brown is turnover prone, and has a weak handle. The Celtics dont even put Brown in a position to be a “playmaker”in crunch time.
Whereas in Pierce’s day he was the defacto playmaker in crunch time.

that 08 Celtics team also had Tony Allen one of the best on ball defenders ever with the trouble he gave prime d wade and kobe he'd defend brown very well if need be
James Posey and Tony Allen can defiantly slow down up Tatum and brown with especially with KG giving help d
Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Eddie House, James Posey ,Sam Cassell a shoot 39/40 percent from 3 in 08 that's 5 snipers the 08 team had
with two undersized but mobile big's in Glen Davis and Leon Powe that fit well in team wise offensively and defensively
the 08 team can defiantly has the personal to match up with slight adjustment's
