He won’tIf it gets Philly a championship, then yes.
it isn't.Maxey alone makes it a win if Brooklyn is serious about rebuilding.
He will not stop until he gets him
it isn't.
Look, Maxey has a bunch of upside, but they were fighting tooth and nail to involve him in the Harden discussions. Now they're supposed to settle for just Maxey? If Brooklyn was serious about rebuilding, they'd find a team that really wants Maxey and get every pick possible they could if blowing it up is their goal. Why? They'd need to find 2 players better than Maxey for the long haul and they don't have the means to get those guys.
They were tryna pillage teams this summer for KD. Now they'll just settle for Maxey? Hey Marks, remember that plan you had? How bout this: we swap Kyrie for Embiid and send that plan to Philly!
I don't see it happening because I can't imagine Marks being given the opportunity to do this all over again in Brooklyn.
the price of the brick went up. The possibility of top 10-15 players being on the market is slim at best now for the next couple of years, so even the KD's of the world will command astronomically high values.Gobert fukked up the trade market, but I don't see teams giving up that amount of picks again. Nets aren't anywhere near a contending-level team, and they're barely a playoff/play-in team with KD dropping 30 every night. They have no one outside of KD that has any serious trade value.
No bottom team is gonna give up their 1st this year because of the chance of Wemby. Nets either get a young stud now, or lose KD for free or basically free when offers dry up.
